Pretty Trees To Plant In Your Yard

Nothing like planting some really nice and colourful trees to add value to your home. Usually we can just go for some simple gardening and just plant in a cute bush or a flower over here and there, however, the trees really put a heavy statement to the garden or yard.

They are there to provide shade and it’s what the majority of us would be caught staring at because it’s the first thing that would catch our attention. So if it’s already catching our attention, we might as well make that tree be the best-looking one from your own block, right?

American Holly

This broadleaf evergreen can grow up to 15 to 50 tall, just adding a bit of cuteness to the yard. Its berries stand out from the green leaves even attracts birds. Though, you might not like that if you don’t fancy cleaning their mess. In spring, small and small flowers give way to berries, making it a perfect choice for a tree to plant.

Dogwood

In America, this is known to be one of the most popular decorative trees to be planted. It can adapt to any hardiness zones and will bloom so beautifully that you would find some Instagram normies taking pictures of it. There are even some varieties of this particular tree that display some reds during autumn. The attractive branching will be showed until winter.

Eastern Redbud

Purples and pinks break through in spring with this beauty. Even if it doesn’t bloom during winter, the branching pattern will still make the entire scene look beautiful. With this pretty thing growing over 20 feet tall, it will bring out a nice change to the gloomy yard you call a garden. Colour is important when you want to talk about gardening and landscape. It pops out so of course if you want an addition to your yard, put on of these.

Saucer Magnolia

A man-made hybrid, this one, but it sure as heck is the one of the prettiest flower-tree I have laid eyes on. It’s shorter than most of the trees you see, which just makes it even more precious. Plant one of these by your door if you wish. It certainly is better to wait by the door next to a pink majesty rather than just nothing.

Sugar Maple

Fiery shades are more of my thing, especially since fall comes next after this summer. The sugar maple is one to grow really big and fancy, with the colours of autumn, all red and orange with a little green here and there. It can even produce some maple syrup, hence the name. Listen, we may talk about it adding value to your home by adding trees to beautify your yard, but planting trees is more of an honourable thing more than anything. Planting trees in general could save our planet. It helps us plus it makes breathing easier. Plant a tree either way.
