Why You Should Definitely Have Trees In An Urban City

You know what’s great about trees? They’re big and majestic, also sometimes they can be pretty. They don’t do much except stand there and weather through time and even storms that come by, but if humans were the ones who stood there and faced storms, they would get blown away. That’s why trees are awesome.

Also, they give us air to breathe, did we forget to mention that?

The main reason why urban cities are always so dusty and packed with not-so-fresh air to breathe is mostly because of the lack of plants and trees anywhere. Sure, the cars and industrial buildings that pop out of nowhere takes a part in that, but if we don’t have trees who swallow up all the carbon dioxide, where else are we going to get fresher air to breathe what with this smoke and dust all over the place?

You know how we solve this? Plant you own tree in your yard.

Ey, why not plant more than just one?

Trees block things

If you think your walls, gates and fences don’t give enough privacy than you would like, trees can do that job for you. It’s a natural at blocking things and people that don’t want to be seen. They can also muffle the sounds on the street, which counts as blocking something.

They clean air and give us oxygen

It’s a known fact that leaves take our carbon dioxide and then pays us back with oxygen, which by the way, we need in order to breathe and live. It’s fresher coming from a tree. It makes us relax just sitting under the tree.

They cool the streets and the cities

Trees have this amazing power of shielding us from the raging ball of fire that floats right above us. Do you sometimes notice that it gets cooler whenever you drive through a street that has trees on either side? Yeah, they help with that.

Provides food

If you happen to plant a fruit tree, then you can’t really go hungry during snack time. It’s healthier to eat fruits too, which is a bonus.

Trees heal

This is more of a mental thing, because sick people tend to feel better if they stare out at trees right outside their windows. I say this is one of the better reasons why you should have planted trees in your backyard or front yard.

Shields children from ultra-violet rays

If your kids like to play outside in the yard, or if they want to outside for a change while still on their tablets, phones or laptops, they can sit under the trees or play there. It’s safe and the trees will shield them from ultra-violet rays. You can even get creative and choose the flower trees along with fruit trees to form your own cosy little forest in the yard. It adds up the value of your home.
